Small Group Tutoring

Hi I’m Andrew, and I am an experienced Science teacher at a large Swansea Secondary School teaching classes from ages 11-18.

I run small group tutoring sessions where I work with a small group of students (typically 3-5) to prepare them for their summer exams whilst building their confidence in Science and Maths.

This approach has multiple benefits:

Allows for one-on-one attention when required as well as time for independent working.
Improve student confidence.
Improve exam results.
Better value for money in comparison to one-on-one tutoring.

Sessions are held at my home in Bishopston in the early evening on weekdays.

Places are available starting in late September for small group tutoring in:

Double Science (Year 10)
Triple Science (Year 10)
Double Science (Year 11)
Triple Science (Year 11)
Preparing for GCSE Sciences & Maths (Year 8&9)
Secondary Maths (Year 7)

I am also an Examiner with WJEC (Chemistry GCSE) so I have a good understanding of examiner expectations to maximise marks in an exam.
